I just installed phpadsnew on my localhost and want to pop-up a sponsor link when a mouse is over that keyword using phpadsnew. To get clear idea please visit po-up a sponsor link when mouse is over and mouse over on keyword php. Does anyone experimented or know how to get the same effect. I read the user guide three times and tried several options but not able to simulate the pop-up on mouse over for a particular keyword.
Your help is much appreciated. Thank you Anil |

Well first in order to have a pop-up to display over a keyword you would have to have some kind of tag, probably an href, around the keyword that would then call the javascript that would do the pop-up.
This would be contextual advertising and phpadsnew is not good at doing that. However, with that said, you could get it to work with some programming on your part. If you are using PHP then you would need to parse the output at some point and search for the keywords. From there you could, in theory, associate different ad id with the keywords that would then on mouseover load the data from phpadsnew. I am positive this would not be easy but at the same time I am pretty sure it could be done... it is just a question of how much time and effort you want to put into it.
